Abstract: This study is focused on the strength and durability for the development of High newlinePerformance Concrete by adding silica fumes and iron filing along with manufactured newlinesand. Previous research has been made on the design of high strength concrete using newlinenatural sand. Under this study the designing of high performance concrete by adding newlinesilica fumes and iron filings with manufactured sand is done as per IS-10262:2019. newlineAll specimen were tested in the laboratory under strict quality control on 7 days and newline28 days curing for compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength newlineusing CTM and UTM machine as per IS 516-1959 and IS 5816:2018. Also durability newlinetest is done by using rapid chloride permeability test apparatus as per ASTM C1202. newlineAll ingredients for samples were collected from the nearby industrial area of newlinePithampur, Indore (M.P.). The result shows that composite high performance concrete newlineusing 50% manufactured sand is more economical and eco-friendly as compared to newlineconventional high strength concrete as the compressive strength increased by 1.36%, newlinesplit tensile strength increased to 6% and flexural strength increased to 5.1%. The newlineeffect of adding silica fume and iron filing individually to the composite high newlineperformance concrete enhances the compressive strength by 4.9% and 3.06%, Split newlinetensile strength by 7.8% and 4.3 %, and flexural strength by 10.1% and 6.7% newlinerespectively as compared to conventional high strength concrete. Study shows that newlinesilica fume and iron filing, when used in composite form increases the compressive newlinestrength, split tensile strength, and flexural strength by 2.73%, 15.7% and 10.5% newlinerespectively. The durability test results shows that the value of charge passing through newlinecomposite high performance concrete is 7.3% more than the conventional high newlinestrength concrete which concludes that the conventional high strength concrete is newlinemore permeable than composite high performance concrete so the composite high newlineperformance concrete is more durable than conventional high strength concrete.
