Abstract: Synthesis, characterization of PVP capped CdS quantum dots and their application in newlinesensing inorganic phosphate ion in real sample and their antimicrobial activity have been newlinestudied. Synthesis of silver NPs using green approach with cane sugar extract and newlinecharacterization of the said silver nanoparticles (Ag-CS NPs) have been done thoroughly. newlineFluorimetric sensing of Cl- ions by these silver nanoparticles in aqueous solution at newlinebiological pH and cell viability study of the silver nanoparticles have been conducted. newlineStudies on the synthesis and characterization of SDS encapsulated CuS nanoparticles and newlinetheir application as selective Turn-On sensor of Pb2+ in aqueous medium have been newlineinvestigated in fairly detailed manner. newline
