Abstract: | The core structural framework of oxindole had been at the center of attention towards biologists as well as medicinal chemists for the past few decades due to its frequent presence in remedially valued substances. Herein, we have attempted to contribute in synthesis of small molecules baring oxindole skeletons through exploiting the unprecedented reactivity of spiroaziridine oxindoles, a privileged precursor in targeting oxindole based alkaloids. newline |
