Abstract: Synthesis of suitable adsorbent: Synthesis of suitable adsorbent for remediation of toxic chemicals was the most important step of the present research work. Present work was devoted to synthesis of nanobiocomposite from mostly available cellulose material. Cellulose powder was converted to nano cellulosic bead via xanthation followed by sol-gel conversion and thereafter Fe(III) is loaded onto the bead for synthesis of desired FeCNB nanocomposite bead. This FeCNB bead was used for decontamination of water. newline
