dc.description.abstractElementary education is the foundational stage of the entire formal education system. This stage of education aims to provide the learners the essential skills necessary for learning. This stage is divided into two sub stages, according to the International Standard Classification of Education, done by UNESCO: newlinei. Primary Education newlineii. Lower Secondary Education newlineElementary Education deals with learners of grade 1-8. As Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) is still not compulsory in many countries, primary education marks the entry of a child in the arena of school. Primary education aims to establish a proper foundation for basic education. newlineLower Secondary Education marks to a transition to more subject-oriented instruction according to the International Standard Classification of Education, done by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) (Paragraph 144). newlineWith these two stages, elementary education as a whole caters to all round development of a child and made him ready for the further study and employment. newline
