Abstract: Significant change of the material properties in the world of nanolevel (10-9 m) forces the scientific community to find out a new way of its application for the betterment of mankind. The nano range is a margin where material properties change a lot. Hence, nanomaterials (NMs) are defined as materials in which at least one dimension is in the nano range (1-100 nm).The utilization of the NMs for human welfare is called nanotechnology. Naoparticles (NPs) are the fundamental components for fabrication of structures in the nano world. The intrinsic properties of NPs are primarily influenced by their shape, size, morphology, composition and crystallinity. Due to size compatibility and the ability to cross the biological barrier, NPs are used in many biological fields. Hence nanobiotechnology, a fertile inter-disciplinary area, extends the scope of nano systems for various applications in the field of biotechnology as well as in nanomedicine. newline
