Some newlinebiopesticides or their producers are provided with food and shelter by some intellegent newlinespecies of trees and animals, to enhance their self defence. newlineThe consortium of biopesticides based on bacteria and fungi showing nearly the perfect newlineresults from table 5.1 it can draw out that the consortium are much more effective and newlinepromising than individual biopesticides. This may be due to multiple infections, or one newlineafter another infection. newlineFirst Chapter includes the Introduction of pomegranate tree, demand and supply of fruit newlinewith other value added products, calorific value, seasonal availabilty, self sufficiancy of newlineHaryana in pomegranate production, habit, habitat and existance in Haryana. Origin of newlinepomegranate tree, its cultural and asthetic values in different areas, the way of farming, newlineirrigation, fertilizer required, its wild and other relatives with a little light on its cultivar newlinedevelopment in India. Popularity of different cultivars, their specific qualities are newlineexplored. Interest of farming community, goverments and whole sellers is also explored newlinea little. Pomegranate is grown for its juicy ediable fruits, for its seeds called Anardana newlineand it is also grown as an ornamental tree due to its beautiful bright red flowers and shrubs newlinein parks and gardens due to its thorns to protect the inner trees. Mature trees can be cut to newlinegive a shape sculptural twisted-bark with single or multiple trunks and a distinctive overall newlinecharming shape. Pomegranate trees are hard and can withstand in drought like conditions, newlinethey can thrives best in arid or low rainfall areas and deserts which either having a newlineMediterranean climate with rainfall only in winter or in areas having rainfall in summer. newline
