Abstract: | The depletion of traditional energy resources due to increasing power demand newlinehas redirected attention of power generation from renewable energy sources such as solar, newlinewind, biomass, hydro, fuel cell, tidal, etc. Among the various renewable energy resources, newlinesolar photovoltaic (PV) power generation system is currently gaining significant importance newlineand popularity due to the abundant availability of sunlight, which serves as a zero-cost fuel, newlineand economically feasible. Additionally, solar PV systems contribute to environmental newlinesustainability by generating electricity with zero pollution, aligning with the global mission newlinefor clean energy solutions. As per the International Energy Agencies (IEA), the global solar newlinephotovoltaic power generation has increased to 1293 TWh and the solar power installed newlinecapacity in India has crossed 63.36 GW as per the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, newlineIndia. newlineIn solar photovoltaic systems, the power harnessed from the solar photovoltaic newlinepanels is fed to the grid using a power conditioning circuit i.e., inverters which convert the newlineDC into AC. To ensure highly efficient operation of the overall system, the selection of newlinepower conditioning units plays an important role. In this regard, the use of transformerless newlineinverters are increasing and widely adopted nowadays newline |
