Abstract: | Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) play a vital role in military surveillance newlineoperations due to their capacity to provide aerial intelligence, reconnaissance, and surveillance newlinecapabilities without putting human lives at risk. They are extensively utilized for gathering newlineintelligence and delivering real-time situational awareness to armed personnel. However, the newlinemost significant challenge in UAV military operations is to achieve secure path planning and newlinesecure the communication link in the UAV for data security. In the area of unmanned aerial newlinevehicle (UAV) path planning, existing algorithms primarily focus on several factors, resulting newlinein greater computational burden and heightened energy consumption for the UAVs. In the newlineexisting path planning algorithms, achieving a secure path for reaching the destination is newlinedifficult considering the energy supply, unknown obstacles, and changeable environment. Due newlineto wireless communication, malicious nodes can quickly acquire access and interrupt data newlinecommunication, affecting path planning in military surveillance operations. Attackers readily newlinetarget the UAVs during surveillance or monitoring operations. The swarm of UAVs newlinecommunicates to balance the load and carry out the surveillance task in coordination, which newlinehelps conserve energy and resources. However, the UAV communication link, which is newlinebetween UAVs and GCS, is more exposed to cyber security assaults newline |
