Abstract: In ancient times, natural resources like rivers, trees and mountains etc. were considered as gods and people used to worship them. Rivers were not just the source of water; they were considered as mother and goddess. It is a very famous saying that the Narmada River water is so pure that it washes all our sins. The industrialization and human activities performed at the heart of the rivers, sewage, municipal and industrial waste have polluted the rivers and the water resources immensely. newline newlineThe present research has been carried out to depict various parameters and methods which can be applied to reduce the pollution level of the Narmada River and Tawa Reservoir water. This work will be helpful in proper management and protection of the Narmada River and Tawa Dam Reservoir water. newline
