Abstract: Effective management of perishable inventory is crucial for businesses in various industries, including agriculture, food, and pharmaceuticals, to optimize resource allocation, reduce newlinewastage, and ensure product availability with an aim to maximize profit or minimize cost and enhanced customer satisfaction. This Ph.D. thesis delves into the realm of perishable inventory newlinemanagement through mathematical modelling and rigorous analysis. The primary objective of this research is to formulate advanced mathematical models and optimize various decision variables to enhance decision-making processes for perishable inventory systems.
