Abstract: | The untimely human deaths due to cardiac arrest are becoming an alarming sign towards the increasing number of heart patients. Cardiac deaths are not only reported from the urban areas while the rural remote areas who have limited access to healthcare utilities are also reporting an increased number of same. The severity of heart-related problems is ever-increasing, hence attracting researchers towards this problem area. The heart issues may be increasing due to the presence of underlying factors like newlineand#61623; Poor cardiologist-to-patient ratio and#61623; Illiteracy and unawareness of health management and#61623; Poor condition of heart health management of elderly and disabled people and#61623; Degraded quality of heart signal monitoring during pandemic-like situations newlineThe outbreak of Corona Virus has also put many questions and challenges before the healthcare management of not only developing countries like India but also developed countries like America, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium etc. where the healthcare system is at the top priority and laced with all modern equipment and innovations. A heart patient would be at the highest risk of COVID infection and COVID patients are at an elevated risk of heart attacks. Considering the necessity, the pandemic has invited innovative changes in the medical field. newlineAs the world keeps advancing, our technology keeps getting better and better. This means that we re constantly finding new and exciting way to use it that can have a positive impact on our lives. In particular, by using these advancements in the medical field, we can improve the quality of people everywhere. Interdisciplinary inventions are facilitating the medical field by making it more autonomous and error- free. The best example of this is the cross-boundary integration of in-home ECG measuring devices and the far monitoring ends (hospitals, clinics etc.). This phenomenon is termed Telemedicine, which is a technology concerned with either real- time monitoring or store and forward analysis. |
