dc.description.abstractThe thesis, VFX AS A FACILITATOR OF FILM MAKING: A STUDY OF CONTEMPORARY newlineINDIAN CINEMA is analyzed and interpreted to observe the VFX-based film scans. This research newlineexplores all aspects of VFX technology and techniques in this study and the truthfulness of content newlineanalyzed and conducted interviews of film s stakeholders. The methodology used helped to newlineconstruct meaning from the documents or VFX technology. This analysis consists of the technical newlineparameters and symbolic parameters. The techniques of VFX-based Indian Films are understood newlinealong with the inter-textuality of the content. newlineVFX literature talks about making plug-ins (Post-Processing Framework for Enhancing Liquid newlineSurfaces in VFX Pipeline), changes in computer animation in the last 30 years (Computer newlineanimation data management: Review of evolution phases and emerging issues) etc. They are only newlineexplaining them but not explaining the real factors that exist in VFX. 25 VFX-based films are newlineselected to fulfil this gap. newlineTo understand the selected films, both technical, as well as symbolic parameters are studied.
