Abstract: | In this era of booming technology, Cloud has become an integral part of society and business newlineorganizations. Cloud services help to manage the data and save the physical costs of newlineorganizations. Cloud needs to be very efficient for providing the desired Quality of Service (QoS). newlineBusinesses and organizations are increasingly adopting the cloud computing business model. Due newlineto its intrinsic properties, including as scalability, pay-per-use, quick flexibility, cost savings, selfservice, and extensive network connectivity, it has become the preferred computing platform for newlinedelivering applications and services. These characteristics of cloud computing have been crucial newlineto its broad acceptance. Cloud industry companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, GoGrid, newlineFlexiant, etc. have installed sizable Data Centers to meet the rising demand for computing newlineresources (DCs). newlineThere are currently several challenges in cloud computing, including security, cost management, newlinelack of resources, deal with multiple clouds, migration, and many performances wise issues. All newlinethese require the attention of the researchers to improve the performance of the Cloud. Resource newlineAllocation is one of such challenges that dramatically influences the overall performance of cloud newlinesystems. If the allocation is not done appropriately, then migration becomes essential for the cloud newlineenvironment. Furthermore, the unfitted migration and allocation will lead to an inefficient energy newlineenvironment. newlineSeveral research works improve performance based on different factors like Resource Allocation, newlineEnergy Efficiency and Migration. The main challenge in resource allocation is the complexity and newlineutilization rate, which reduces due to the increased demand. Also, the dynamic environment newlinebecomes the main reason to increase energy consumption along with the delay. Moreover, it also newline newline |
