The thesis titled Design, Synthesis, Biological Assessment and Docking Studies of Pyrimidinediones, Pyrimidinones and Guanidine Derivatives comprises of four chapters. The first chapter is introduction, includes literature review and the remaining four are experimental chapters. Chapter-I: The reported biological importance of pyrimidinediones, pyrimidinones and guanidine moieties in the literature is presented in this chapter. Most of these compounds have antibacterial, antioxidant, anticancer, antiviral, and antiinflammatory properties. Chapter-II: This chapter describes the design, synthesis and biological evaluation of amide derivatives of pyrimidinediones. Section A: This chapter explains about the synthesis of amide derivatives of pyrimidinediones and their antibacterial activity. Docking studies of these target molecules has been reported. Section B: In this chapter the design, synthesis, characterization, biological assessment, newline ADMET and in silico docking studies of pyrimidinediones has been incorporated. newline newline Chapter III: The synthesis of pyrimidinone derivatives has been presented in this chapter. newline The antibacterial activity and molecular docking studies of the derivatives has been newline discussed. newlineChapter IV: This chapter explicates about synthesis of guanidine derivatives. The newlinepharmacological activities of these compounds has been presented in this chapter. newlineFurther, the docking studies for these titled compounds are presented.quot newline newline
