Abstract: | In the field of health care management emerging literatures have highlighted the satisfaction levels of patients impact of quality on satisfaction levels technological implementation on better outcomes of patients and so on There are only a few literatures available on the quality improvement measures taken in hospitals through better mechanisms for obtaining better patient contentment levels Therefore this research tries to fill this gap by finding the various factors affecting patient contentment level and also the impact of quality improvement measures on better quality outcomes in hospital setting This research was done by developing a conceptual framework with seven dimensions such as quality improvement measures business process capabilities service convenience flexibility clinical pathway implementation health care quality outcomes and contentment about stay of patients in the hospital Each dimensions employed various variables through which the researcher determined the factors influencing the health care quality outcomes as well as patient contentment level in hospitals This research employed stratified simple random sampling and data was collected using two questionnaires one for health care professionals and other one for patients The data was collected from 397 health care professionals and 400 patients with respect to three private multi speciality hospitals in Chennai city The findings clearly depict that quality improvement measures and digital advantage have influenced service convenience flexibility The results also revealed that clinical pathway implementation was related to health care quality outcomes and patient contentment level Therefore the hospitals should focus on improving the quality of services by providing convenience and flexibility for patients in health care processes and should implement advanced technologies that are convenient for both providers and patients Also hospitals should be concerned about improving the pathways by implementing better hospitals processes which will res |
