dc.description.abstractnewlinePerformance evaluation has become a critical concern for organizations worldwide regardless of their size or nature This study aims to develop a robust framework for assessing hospital performance by identifying suitable Key Performance Indicators KPIs aligned with the Balanced Scorecard BSC approach The objective is to create a decision support system tailored for hospitals mapping strategic key Performance indicators to the balanced scorecard perspectives to measure hospital performance effectively The study implements the developed balanced scorecard framework as a quality improvement management tool leveraging Mamdani fuzzy logic to visualize data and derive overall scores for each perspective Additionally an interactive webpage has been designed to enhance user experience validation of the model is carried out in both government and corporate hospitals The flexibility of this model allows for customization to suit the unique characteristics of target hospitals Ultimately this study provides valuable insights for hospital administrators offering a new perspective on performance evaluation and facilitating meaningful improvements in hospital performance
