dc.description.abstractDiabetic Retinopathy (DR) is one common eye ailment linked to diabetes. newlineDiabetes is a fast-growing global health issue that is characterized by impaired glucose newlinemetabolism, which leads to long-term organ loss and dysfunction. One metabolic newlinecondition that is fast becoming more common in India and around the world is diabetes newlinemellitus. Due to diabetes, the majority of people have diabetic retinopathy. The majority newlineof individuals with long-term diabetes mellitus will eventually develop this disease, newlinewhich can result in blindness. Diabetes causes vision loss in a large number of people newlinebetween the ages of 18 and 65. Of these, 3 4% has diabetes mellitus, and 35 65% has newlineDR. The common ocular condition, which usually impacts both eyes, is called Diabetic newlineRetinopathy. It arises from blood leaking from retinal blood vessels (BV), which affects newlinethe retina. Diabetic Retinopathy is an anomaly of the retinal BV. The 2 primary forms of newlinediabetic retinopathy are non-proliferative (NPDR) and proliferative (PDR), which are newlineinfluenced by exudates, bleeding, and microaneurysms (MA). Numerous people develop newlinediabetic retinopathy; however, they do not exhibit any symptoms until the latter stages newline
