Abstract: Globalization and subsequent advances in information and communication technology newline(ICT) enabled economic activities to take place irrespective of location, and many countries newlinethroughout the world have become desirable destinations for multinational corporations newlineoutsourcing their operations. Services outsourcing to India started in the 1980s and exploded newlinein the 1990s. Over the years, the scope of outsourcing has broadened substantially, as newlineinformation technology has become increasingly important to businesses. With the shifting newlinecircumstances, Indian IT and ITES firms are adjusting their delivery sites and delivering newlinevalue-added services to maintain their competitive advantage. The current research is based newlineon a literature assessment and highlights outsourcing trends as well as the problems that newlineoutsourced IT-ITES organisations confront. newline
