Abstract: Three structurally related dihydroxyflavones were investigated for their newlineeffect on paclitaxel-induced neuropathy in mice The manifestations of newlinechemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy like mechanical newlineallodynia cold allodynia and thermal hyperalgesia induced by paclitaxel were newlineassessed by established procedures A dose dependent attenuation of newlineneuropathic manifestations was observed after treatment with the above newlinedihydroxyflavones Investigations on their mechanism of action revealed the newlineinvolvement of GABA A receptor Adenosine A3 receptor and K ATP channel in newlinethe anti neuropathic effect of dihydroxyflavones The in silico studies newlineperformed also indicated good binding affinity of the dihydroxyflavones to the newlineabove targets thus confirming the role of the above receptors and ion channel newlinein the action of dihydroxyflavones newline newline
