Abstract: newlineThis thesis digs into the cutting-edge field of quantum cryptography, with the primary focus being on the development and evaluation of novel encryption algorithms having their roots in quantum principles. The research endeavours to accomplish five important goals, the first of which is to develop innovative encryption strategies motivated by quantum occurrences such as Godel codes, one-way trapdoor functions, DNA encoding, knapsack sequences, and Fermat numbers. Second, within the quantum framework, it is necessary to carry out an all-encompassing analysis of the usefulness and effectiveness of one-way trapdoor functions in the process of generating encryption keys. Thirdly, we are going to look into the synergistic potential that qubit rotations and trapdoor mapping have in terms of fabricating strong and impenetrable encryption keys. Utilising sophisticated DNA encryption methods is another goal of the research project, which intends to develop a protocol for the exchange of quantum session keys that is both feasible and safe. In conclusion, the study investigates the possibility of employing super-increasing knapsack sequences as a means of bolstering the safety of quantum key distribution.
