Abstract: The human physique has been classified by several typologies; however, widely researched the most notable one is Sheldon in the year 1940, 1942, 1949 and 1954. American psychologist William Herbert Sheldon (1940) developed a theory that there are three body types, or somatotypes: Ectomorph, Endomorph, and Mesomorph. The three germ layers were developed with the names of embryonic development. Endoderm which develops into digestive tract ,Mesoderm which develop into muscle, heart and blood vessels and Ectoderm which form the skin and nervous system. Each somatotype has its distinct physical characteristics and supposedly personality as well. Modern scientists have dismissed his claims on somatotypes personality as outdated and inaccurate. However, the unique physical characteristics of each body type are still widely used as an important factor when designing workout routines for the individual newline
