Abstract: | Nowadays due to globalization, industries consume a large amount of newlinewater and create a shortage of pure water. In addition, they pollute the newlineexisting freshwater resources too. Water that is used in several stages of the newlinetextile processing industry carries wastes such as contaminants, chemicals newlinewhich when discharged directly to lands cause severe problems. So treating newlinetextile wastewater is essential. newlineIndustry 4.0 facilitated byInternet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, newlineMachine Learning, Machine Vision and Data Analytics enables the newlinedevelopment of equipment at much lower costs through efficient use of newlineenergy and resources. The various Industry 4.0 enabling technologies such as newlineSystem Integration, Internet of Things, Simulation System and Data Analysis newlineusing Machine Learning were considered for investigations on resource newlinemanagement and pollution reduction in textile wet processing and textile newlinewastewater treatment. Concerning the environmental dimension, industry 4.0 newlinesupports in reducing waste generation and effective recycling initiatives. newlineVarious real time reviews have been conducted in the Bannari newlineAmman Spinning Mill for Energy Management, Kunnankalpalayam Common newlineEffluent Treatment Plant for Sludge Reduction and Akshara Water Treatment newlinefor Sludge Reduction and Valorization. Literature reviews were also carried newlineout for investigating on resource management and pollution reduction in newlinetextile wastewater treatment. From the survey, it was found that high energy, newlinewater consumption and huge sludge formation were the major problems in the newlinepresent scenario of textile wastewater treatment. So, investigations on newlinepumping process, aeration process, renewable energy analytics, textile wet newlineprocessing, textile wastewater, sludge reduction and sludge valorization were newlineaccomplished in textile wastewater treatment newline |
