A study of factors affecting employee retention in private business schools of Uttarakhand

Abstract

The current study is an attempt to fulfil the gap and to highlight the influence of Transformational leadership TL Innovative Behaviour IB Perceived organisational Support POS on Employee Retention ER in private . B schools of Uttarakhand. The research conducted in the education sector of Uttarakhand State and the data collected from the employees working in different Educational. The data collection process was done by distributing the questionnaire among different academician, employee working in educational organizations of the Uttarakhand State. Statistical tools such as Regression analysis for hypothesis testing and structural equation modelling for confirmatory factor analysis and the reliability and validity of the constructs.The results obtained from the data analysis infers that TL IB and POS has a positive impact on ER. It was also revealed from the results that the relation between TL and ER is mediated by IB and POS.The study provides key theoretical and practical implications for the organizations of educational sector in Uttarakhand state. This research conveys suggestions for researchers to investigate the unrevealed actualities on ER in the context of the educational sector of Uttarakhand. The key policy suggestions for educational organizations in Uttarakhand State is to take necessary steps to improve and enhance Employee retention techniques which in turn going to increase the overall effectiveness of the organization. newline
