Abstract: Heterocyclic Compounds containing Nitrogen, Oxygen, Sulphur possess various newlinebiological activities. Since heterocyclic compounds and their derivatives are plays very newlinesignificant role in the medicinal chemistry. Hence, there is much interest of researcher in newlinethe synthesis of heterocyclic compounds and their derivatives. newlineHere, I have synthesized some heterocyclic compounds such as Pyrazole and its newlinederivatives,2,4,5-triphenyl imidazole derivatives, benzopyran derivatives 5- newlinebenzylidinethiazolidine-2,4-dione derivatives, 2,3-Dihydro-2-Phenyl-1H-Naphtho-[1,2-e] newline[1,3] Oxazine derivatives. Pharmacological activities of most of these compounds have newlinebeen reported in the literature like anticoagulant, anticancer agents antitumor, newlineantibacterial, insecticidal, antifungal, antioxidant hypoglycemic, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, newlineand antimicrobial activities. newlineTherefore, in view of these considerations, it is decided to study the synthesis of these newlineheterocyclic compounds. newlineThe thesis focuses on synthesis and characterization of some heterocyclic compounds newlinesuch as Pyrazole and its derivatives,2,4,5-triphenyl imidazole derivatives, benzopyran newlinederivatives, 5-benzylidinethiazolidine-2,4-dione derivatives, 2,3-Dihydro-2-Phenyl-1HNaphtho-[ newline1,2-e] [1,3] Oxazine derivatives. newlineExperimental results and effect of solvent, catalyst, temperature in the synthesis of newlineheterocyclic compounds i.e., Pyrazole and its derivatives,2,4,5-triphenyl imidazole newlinederivatives, benzopyran derivatives,5-benzylidinethiazolidine-2,4-dione derivatives, 2,3- newlineDihydro-2-Phenyl-1H-Naphtho-[1,2-e] [1,3] Oxazine derivatives are discussed in each newlineSection. newline2.
