Electrochemical Analysis of Sum Pharmaceutical Drugs

Abstract

Electrochemical sensors are devices that measure the concentration of analytes in a newlinesolution by detecting the electrical signals generated by the redox reactions. Electrocatalysts newlineare substances that enhance the rate and efficiency of these reactions by lowering the newlineactivation energy and providing active sites for electron transfer. Nanoparticles can be used as newlineelectrocatalysts in the exploitation of electrochemical sensors; hence, the synthesis of new newlinenanoparticles contributes substantially to the field of nanotechnology and electrochemistry. newlineThe research presented in this thesis aims to synthesize some newlinenanoparticles/nanomaterials and some commercially available nanoparticles/nanomaterials to newlineinvestigate the electrochemical behavior of various electroactive species. Electrochemical newlinedetection and analytical applications of selected electroactive molecules such as Zileuton, newlinePramipexole, Valganciclovir, and 5-Fluorouracil were investigated.
