This study explores the effect of computer-based interactive simulation teaching strategy on achievement in biology and problem-solving ability about attitude towards biology in a sample of 300 students of senior secondary schools in Amritsar, Punjab affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Major findings revealed that the achievement and problem-solving ability of groups taught through computer-based interactive simulation teaching strategy was significantly higher than that of traditional teaching strategy in biology. The achievement and problem-solving abilities of high, average and low attitudes towards biology groups were notably different from each other. There were significant interaction effects of instructional strategies and attitudes towards biology groups on achievement in biology and problem-solving ability. Computer-based interactive simulation teaching strategies were found to be effective in enhancing learners achievement and problem-solving ability in biology as compared to traditional teaching approaches and bringing a positive attitude towards biology. So, facilitators must integrate these instructions into their teaching-learning process. newline
