Abstract: | The primary aims of the study are to Effects of Health Related Physical Fitness newlineProgramme on Academic Stress and Mental Health among Elite Level Students. Two newlinegroups were (Students) targeted as experimental (Treatment group) and control group (Non- newlineTreatment group). The 40 male students were considered as experimental group (Treatment newlinegroup) and 40 male students was considered as control group (Non-Treatment group) . The newlineTraining was given to the experimental groups (Treatment group) only. The method of newlinesample of the present study was purposive (A non-random method of sampling design) newlinefor students with a specific purpose. The study collected primary source of data. The newlinedata was collected through respondents in the form of demographic tools, standardized newlineQuestionnaires and experimental test from sample. A Health related physical fitness newlineprogramme ( HRPPP) was planned for Six (6) weeks, Four (4) days a week and Sixty newline(60Min) minutes a day. Exercise that use in muscles groups that can be maintained newlinecontinuously and are aerobic in nature. The data was collected before and after training to newlinethe students through questionnaires and others tools . The instruction was given by the newlineinvestigator to the students before filling these questionnaires. The academic stress (AS) newlinewas measured before and after health related physical fitness programme (HRPPP) to the newlinestudents. For the student s academic stress, Gadzella s (1991) Students-life Stress newlineInventory was used for present study. For the present study, 12 Items Mental health newline(MH) was measured before and after health related physical fitness programme newline(HRPPP) to the students by the using General Health Questionnaire (GHQ -12). The newlineresult reveals that significant difference of academic stressors was found between pre newlineand posttest students ( t=P.lt05). In order to find out the differences of five subscales of newlineacademic stressors between pre and posttest of students; t-ratio was computed for each newlinecategory separately. The result reveals that significant differences were found in of (t= newlineP.lt |
