Abstract: newlineThe first chapter gives an overview of Civic engagement of youth for rural newline development with a brief Introduction, scope, objectives, hypothesis and limitations newline for the research work. newline The second chapter highlights review of literature by citing certain recent examples newline and cases relating to the present study. This chapter also gives an overview of various newline components and profile of Solapur district. newline Chapter three deals with research methodology which includes data collection newline methods, sampling techniques, reliability and validity testing and statistical tool used newline for hypothesis testing. newline The fourth chapter civic engagement, socio-economic empowerment and economic newline development co-relates the relationship between civic engagement and various other newline variables like economic development, social development, economic empowerment. newline It also covers the predictors of civic engagement like self motivation and external newline influences. newline Chapter fifth poverty reduction through civic engagement highlights the newline relationship between civic engagement and poverty reduction. newline Chapter sixth area development through civic engagement highlights the impact of newline civic engagement on area development and it also covers the various constraints to newline civic engagement. newline Chapter four, five and six highlights the data analysis, interpretation and hypothesis newline testing, with the application of various statistical tools like chi square test, ANNOVA, newline t- tests, correlation, Regression analysis etc., for testing the hypothesis it followed by newline different type of tables, pie charts and bar charts. newline Chapter seven presents Findings and observations as final remarks on the research newline work conducted on the subject civic engagement of youth for rural development. newline Chapter eight deals with conclusion of research study and strategic implications
