dc.description.abstractThe research tries to analyse and be conscious of the nature of the present cybercrimes and newlineemphasis on the fact that the present cybercrimes are highly contemporaneous, newlinecomplicated, and more universal in nature. There is an attempt to understand the linkages newlinebetween the concepts of fast paced world of cybercrimes, cyber laws in the Indian context newlineas well as the contexts of the legislations in the United States of America. The research has newlineattempted to study the role, responsibilities, establishment, and functions of the legislature newlineand judiciary in attempting to consolidate the definitions, nature, and punishments of the newlineworld of cybercrimes and criminals. The research proposes and studies the Information newlineTechnology Act, 2000 , and attempts to analyse the redressal mechanisms set up under the newlineact, to tackle the problems of cybercrimes and cyber security. The aim of the research newlineinvolves the study of the fundamental characteristics and classifications of cybercrime, the newlinekey provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 in India, the identified strengths newlineand weaknesses in the current legal framework addressing cybercrime, the key similarities newlineand differences between the Indian and the U.S. Cyber laws. Decision making and problem newlinesolving are the two most important attributes while imparting justice and the researcher newlinetries to identify the both of them in the Indian and the US context in solving cyber issues. newlineFurthermore, the research tries to find loopholes and bring about solutions to such newlineloopholes which hinder or lengthens the process of bringing about cyber justice in India. newlineThe research studies the need for Cyber Security and Justice as a necessity for the newlineprotection and mitigation of the ever-increasing cybercrimes among the communities as a newlinevery contemporary topic in the field of law newline
