dc.description.abstract | Advancements of electronic equipment s in domain such as newlinehealthcare and environmental studies have resulted in the emergence of large newlinescale temporal data. This emphasizes the significance of developing effective newlinemethods for temporal data analysis. Temporal data is a sequence of newlineobservations that vary over time and are characterized by multiple time newlinedependent variables. Temporal data can be categorized into univariate and newlinemultivariate. Multivariate temporal data is a series of observation with more newlinethan one time dependent variables. These data contain interesting patterns that newlinecan be used to build a Computer Assisted Decision Support System (CADSS). newlineTemporal knowledge mining is the process of discovering meaningful patterns newlineand knowledge from temporal data. The temporal knowledge mining performs newlineknowledge discovery by identifying the temporal dependencies and sequence newlineamong the multivariate attributes. newline | |
