Abstract: Electrochemical Micromachining (ECMM) is the most favorable newlinemethod to produce microstructures on different materials. This method is newlineclassified as non-conventional machining in which the material removal happens newlinedue to dissolution of works specimen in electrolytes to produce the complex newlinemachining, patterns and micro structures. Due to its unique characteristics, newlineapplication of ECMM is extended in advancing fields such as biomedical, newlinebiotechnology, and aerospace etc. This method enables high precision machining newlinewith good surface finish. In ECMM, workpiece is immersed in to the electrolytes newlineand potential difference is applied across the electrode which induces the flow of newlinemetal ions. Controlling applied voltage, Duty Cycle (DC) and concentration of newlineElectrolytes (EC) are key factors to provide high precision machining. The research newlineon tool development, process parameter optimization and integration of newlineoptimization technique in other fabrication method will extend the application of newlineECMM in various domains. newline
