This study aims to comprehensively analyze the work-life balance of newlinewomen nurses in Dakshina Kannada district, shedding light on the factors influencing their ability to newlinemaintain equilibrium between professional commitments and personal lives. Additionally, given the newlinebackdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, this research seeks to understand the distinctive challenges faced newlineby women nurses during this unprecedented crisis, exploring how their work-life balance may have been newlinefurther impacted. newlineDakshina Kannada district, situated in southern Karnataka, India, has experienced significant growth in its newlinehealthcare sector, leading to an influx of healthcare professionals, including nurses, to meet the increasing newlinedemands of the population. However, amidst these advancements, it is crucial to understand the specific newlinefactors that affect the work-life balance of women nurses in this context. The nursing profession newlineinherently presents complexities due to the demanding nature of the job, long working hours, shift newlinerotations, and the emotional toll of patient care.
