Abstract: | newline The safety performance of the Indian construction industry is not newlinesatisfactory, due to which many accidents are still prevailing in the newlineconstruction industry. To execute the project successfully without any newlineaccidents all the levels of employees must be consciously involved in newlinepreventing accidents without committing errors at their individual level. Many newlineresearchers have conducted studies to find out the major issues that lead to newlinecauses of accidents at the single-employee level. Finding out major issues at a newlinesingle employee level alone may not be sufficient to prevent accidents, newlinebecause construction is not a domain of a single category of employees; newlineinstead, it is a field of several categories of employees working at various newlinelevels in the execution of the projects. Any single error committed at any of newlinethe employee levels may contribute to major issues that would lead to newlineaccidents. Therefore, in order to identify the potential errors that occur at newlinemulti-level employees, the present study has adopted a three-dimensional newlineview strategy to investigate human-related errors that occur during the newlineimplementation of each stage of safety practices such as Supply and Usage of newlinePersonal Protective Equipment (PPE), Safety Training (ST) and Safety newlineSupervision (SSV) from Top Management (TM), Safety Supervisors (SS) and newlineWorkers (W) perspectives. |
