Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Plyometric exercise on playing newlineabilities and anthropometrical Characteristics of Collegiate Basketball Players. The newlineBasketball players of Nanded districts of Marathwada region of Maharashtra were selected newlinethe primary source of data for the present study. Total 60 Basketball considered as an newlineexperimental group and 60 Basketball considered control group for the present study. The newlineexperimental group was given the plyometric training and no training was given to the newlinecontrol group. The duration of training program was six weeks. The training was newlineadministrated on alternative days i.e. four days per week. The data was collected before newlineand at the end of six weeks training program, with the help of steel tape. The criterion newlinemeasures were recorded in centimeters. To find out the significant effect of plyometric newlinetraining on the thigh muscle circumference t-test was employed and mean difference newlinebetween pretest and posttest of experimental group and control group was determined. newlineIt was hypothesized that, there would be significant effects of plyometric exercise on newlinea n t h r o p o m e t r i c a l characteristics w i t h r e s p e c t t o chest muscle circumference newline(CMC) of collegiate basketball players. The result of the study reveals that insignificant newlinedifference was found in chest muscle circumference(CMC) of control group. Result reveals newlinethat significant effect of Plyometric exercise was found (t=,plt.05) in chest muscle newlinecircumference (CMC) of experimental group. The findings of the study showed that newlinePlyometric exercise (PMEX) was effective for increasing chest muscle circumference(CMC) newlineamong the Basketball Players. The hypothesis of the study was accepted newlineIt was hypothesised that, there would be significant effects of plyometric exercise on newlineanthropometrical characteristics w i t h r e s p e c t t o upper arm muscle circumference newline(UAMC) of collegiate basketball players No significant difference was found in newlineanthropometric measurement with respect to upper arm muscle ci
