Abstract: Polycystic ovarian syndrome extends beyond being solely a fertility disorder; it also presents as a clinical condition associated with an elevated risk of various coexisting health issues, including type 2 diabetes, hyperandrogenism, hormonal imbalances, with its underlying causes not yet fully understood. Exposure to artificial light at night has been shown to stimulate the reproductive function in women. Working women, especially those on night shifts like nurses, doctors, and IT professionals, are particularly vulnerable to factors affecting their health and well-being. Herbal medicine has emerged as a potential approach for addressing PCOS. Tinospora cordifolia, a traditional medicinal plant from the Menispermaceae family, is used in Ayurvedic medicine to create therapeutically effective remedies. newlineIn this study, FTIR analysis was employed to identify characteristic peak values and functional groups in the Tinospora cordifolia stem extract and alkaloid-rich fraction. GC-MS analysis revealed the presence of 16 primary compounds in the Tinospora cordifolia stem extract and 12 primary compounds in the alkaloid-rich fraction newline
