The research is comprehensive, covering not only the issues faced by abandoned women but also the ongoing challenges they encounter in their day today life. newlineAssessing the socio-economic profile of the respondents and their spouses, the study sheds light on how education, income levels, and familial support impact the lives of these women in facing the challenges associated with abandonment. It further analyses the various forms of violence to which these women have been subjected both pre abandonment and post abandonment, as well as the causes of both violence and abandonment.
