dc.description.abstract | newline The proposed work deals with the development of a multiple output DC to DC converter built around a Relift Luo converter. A synchronous buck boost converter is included so as to include a battery backup. The proposed system has been demonstrated with a solar photovoltaic source as the input and in the extended version the utility AC source is also included so as to form a multiple input multiple output power transaction system. newlineThe central core of this research, which can be treated as the first or the main contribution, is the development of a multiple output DC to DC converter with the Relift type Luo converter that provides a 48 V DC output and a 24 V DC output. The 48 V channel is typically required for the traction system of the Electric Vehicles and the 24 V channel is required for charging the battery and for powering up other auxiliary systems of the vehicle. | |
