Abstract: newline The increasing demand for high-performance energy storage systems newlinehas spurred significant research efforts aimed at advancing the development newlineof high-power-density supercapacitors. Supercapacitors (SCs) have gained newlineprominence as a valuable solution for our rapidly evolving society, finding newlineideal applications in short-range power sources, future electric vehicles, and newlineportable electronic devices. Their popularity can be attributed to their capacity newlinefor rapid charging and discharging cycles, high power density, and long-term newlinecycle stability. The proposed work focusses on enhancing SCs to achieve newlineexceptional charge-storage capacity, extended cycle life, and the capability newlinefor high cycle rates. A notable avenue of exploration is the development of newlineHybrid Supercapacitors (HS), which combine the fundamental supercapacitor newlinetechnology with various composites, harnessing the strengths of both systems newlineto create versatile and high-performance energy storage devices.
