dc.description.abstractnewline The Internet of Things (IoT) represents a network of connected newlinedevices that produce data and also exchange data with one another. The IoT newlinefinds its application in several domains including smart homes, healthcare, newlinetransportation, and industrial automation. Cyber-attacks on the IoT are newlinegrowing at an alarming rate as devices, applications, and communication newlinenetworks are becoming increasingly connected and integrated. The vast newlineamount of information generated by the IoT devices may contain confidential newlineand sensitive data which require strong privacy and security mechanisms. newlineCloud computing has emerged as a popular choice for storing and newlineprocessing the massive amount of data generated by IoT devices. However, newlinethe integration of IoT devices with cloud computing platforms has also newlineintroduced several security challenges. The cloud must have the ability to newlinehost, manage and secure the data.
