Abstract: | Chemotherapy, which is commonly linked to major side effects, is the first line of defense against many cancer types. Plant extracts might possess anticancer qualities. Triterpenoids can alter a variety of signaling pathways in cancer cells, including Betulinic acid; however they are hydrophobic and have a low bioavailability. By specifically blocking oestrogen receptors, tamoxifen reduces the proliferation of cancer cells. However, it entails a significant and potentially fatal risk of blood clots, stroke, future endometrial cancer, and thromboembolic events. Formulations with drug-loaded nanoparticulate are the solution to the aforementioned problem. It has repeatedly been proposed that a mixture of lipids and polymers is the best substance for encasing a variety of drugs. newline |
