Abstract: Educational organizations deal with men and material sources and it would not be imprecise to say that the material sources will fail in their capacity if human sources are not capable enough to handle them. The term Professional Commitment is the connectedness of an individual with the work situation, loyalty and belief in the profession, job involvement etc. The study was conducted on a sample of 300 teachers of the Kullu and Mandi districts of Himachal Pradesh. A descriptive survey was carried out for the quantitative data collection. The tools used for data collection included; the Roquan Spiritual Intelligence Test by Zainuddin and Ahmad (2005), the Teachers Emotional Intelligence Inventory by Mangal (2005), the School Environment Scale by Agarwal and Pandey (2017) and the Professional Commitment Scale was developed by the investigator herself. Statistical tools applied for data analysis were Product Moment Correlation and Multiple Regression. The results inferred that all the dimensions of Professional Commitment (PC) have a significant positive relationship with all the dimensions of Spiritual Intelligence (SI), Emotional Intelligence (EI) and School Environment (SE). Further, it was revealed that there existed a statistically significant conjoint relationship among SI, EI, SE and PC. The study concluded that a teacher who is expected to draw out the best in students should be endowed with all these non-cognitive virtues so as to display ideal behaviour and exemplary life. newline
