dc.description.abstractThe present study makes an attempt to study white collar crimes in an area of medical profession. The medical profession offers a lot of opportunities where white collar crimes can easily be committed. Rather, the commission of white collar crimes in medical profession by doctors and other associated persons are quite common in India. Kidney stealing has become a very common thing and often finds place in the newspapers headlines. Along with it, trafficking of human organs has been increasing day by day. The researcher would also make attempts to find out the possible solutions so that white collar crimes may be curbed in the medical profession. This would lead to examine the history, emerging factors concerning white collar crimes, legal mechanism to curb these offences, comparative study of other medical systems, collection of empirical data and examination of the level of awareness regarding white collar crimes in the medical profession among medical practitioners and common masses. newline
