dc.description.abstract | This comprehensive study delves into the adoption of HR analytics in IT software development companies in Hyderabad, India, with a specific focus on organizations employing at least 300 individuals. It meticulously explores the multifaceted relationship between HR analytics and various HR functions such as recruitment, compensation, compliance, and training. The research identifies critical determinants influencing adoption, including top management support, organizational readiness, and factors related to human resources, environmental conditions, and data governance. By surveying 395 participants using a probability sampling method, the study provides a robust and representative analysis. Findings reveal that while there is strong support for HR analytics in recruitment, responses are mixed for compensation, compliance, and training, indicating varied perceptions across different HR functions. The study also highlights the perceived benefits of HR analytics, such as enhanced problem identification, managerial support, collaboration, and decision-making, while also addressing challenges like budget constraints, time consumption, and lack of training. Overall, the research underscores the complex landscape of HR analytics adoption and its effectiveness, offering valuable insights for organizations seeking to enhance their HR strategies. These findings are particularly relevant for practitioners, policymakers, and researchers aiming to navigate the dynamic and competitive IT sector in Hyderabad. newline newline | |
