dc.description.abstractThe present study endeavors to examine a selection of biblical narratives through the prism of life skills, situated within the milieu of diaspora. Diaspora, as a subject of scholarly inquiry, has undergone significant metamorphoses over epochs, shaped by diverse socio-cultural and global forces including globalization, liberalization, economic interdependence, and transnationalism. This evolution, spanning from ancient biblical epochs to contemporary transnational realities, necessitates a nuanced examination of diaspora, both synchronically and diachronically, considering its manifold epistemic and dynamic manifestations throughout history. With a particular focus on the Jewish migration between 1750 BC and 482 BC as emblematic of forced migration, this thesis delves into the dystopian dimensions of diaspora and scrutinizes various facets thereof, including quotWomen in Diaspora,quot quotReligion in Diaspora,quot and quotIdentity in Diaspora . By elucidating the significance of life skills such as effective communication, self-awareness, emotional regulation, and stress management within diasporic contexts, the study underscores the imperative of addressing issues pertaining to identity, human rights, and gender within diasporic communities. To study in detail, the first text, Book of Genesis chapter 37 to 52 from Holy Bible (King James version) English language published in 2020 and The Accidental Executive: Lessons on Business, faith, and calling from the life of Joseph by Albert M Erisman published in 2015, look the life of Joseph and discussed identity in diaspora, where Joseph used effective communication skills and interpersonal skills to live succusses full in the land of Egypt. While the second book of Ruth and book of Esther from Holy Bible (King James version) English language published in 2020, compares and reflects the life of Ruth and Esther to show life of women in diaspora, which also shows how Ruth and Esther uses problem solving skills and critical thinking skills to overcome the situation and gain name...
