Abstract: In the present scenario, the lifespan of a system or its components is equally important to its efficiency. The time required to replace the component will directlymcost in terms of money. The components life span has become a factor of significant importance in deciding the type of materials to be chosen for the manufacture of the component. The main challenging task for the manufacturing industries is to produce systems or components with reliability. Hence, there is a need for manufacturing the components with efficiency and better life. Wear and friction is one of the parameters in mating parts, which cannot be eliminated and it reduces the efficiency and life in many of the IC Engine components like cylinder blocks, pistons, pistons rings, etc. Many efforts are being made to reduce the wear by decreasing the friction between the mating parts by increasing the surface finish of the components or providing lubrication between them. These effects have reduced the friction between the composites, but there are cases where these methods are not feasible because of the processes associated with the mating parts. The chance to decrease wear between such types of mating parts has become a challenging task. The problem of wear for such components can be overcome by increasing the wear resistance of the components. The current study, an attempt was made to increase composites strength, wear and corrosion resistance by reinforcing them with particulates having silicon content. The Hypereutectic Al-Si alloys was used as matrix material in this study, considering its extensive range of applications. Various reinforcements having remarkable silicon content, Hypereutectic Al-(20-25) weight % of Si were used. These were used for assessing their potentials in enhancing the mechanical, corrosion and tribological behavior of the composites, in particular. The present study the novel fabrication route of Hypereutectic Al-(20-25) weight % of Si using ultrasonic vibration stirring and squeeze casting. The goal of the study is to
