Radio spectrum is the scarce and treasured resource eternally. newlineCognitive Radio Network (CRN) is an intelligent radio technology to detect newlinewhite spaces in the radio spectrum. The entire radio spectrum is not utilized newline/underutilized effectively among primary users (PUs). This underutilized newlinefrequency spectrum can be used in an opportunistic manner by secondary newlinecognitive users (SUs). So, the spectrum is shared opportunistically among newlineprimary and secondary users. The main function of cognitive radio is to search newlinefor free spectrum holes and share it with cognitive secondary users properly newlinewithout causing any interference to primary user. The shared spectrum is newlinereturned to primary users once it re-enters the channel to eliminate the network newlinetraffic problem. This process of detecting unused or free channel and utilize it newlineproperly is called dynamic spectrum access. newline
