Abstract: Demand for ultra-high data rate wireless communication has newlineincreased due to the outstanding expansion of wireless devices and newlinebandwidth-starved internet applications. New electromagnetic (EM) newlinespectrums are being explored to meet the continuously growing traffic newlinedemand. Due to its abundant spectrum resources, the terahertz (THz) band newline(0.1 THz 10 THz), which is located between microwave frequencies and newlineoptical frequencies, is seen as the next major development in modern newlinecommunication technology. THz waves provide several benefits, including newlinelow photon energy, no physical or chemical harm to biological systems, newlineextremely high spectrum resolution, powerful penetration, and excellent newlinecoherence. It is considered a viable option for 6G communication in the newlinefuture.
