The rapid increase in urban populations has made high-rise newlineconstruction a necessity. Fire safety is a crucial factor that must be considered newlinethroughout the design and construction of high-rise buildings. In case of an newlineemergency, people must be able to evacuate from high-rise buildings safely. newlineEmergency evacuation from high-rise buildings in the event of a fire is an newlineimportant challenge in an urban environment. newlineModeling the evacuation process in high-rise buildings and newlinecarrying out risk assessments to estimate the probability of fire occurrence in newlinehigh-rise buildings are the two key elements of effective safety design. The newlinestructure of the building, the physical abilities of the evacuating people, and newlinetheir reactions influence emergency evacuation modeling. Human behaviors, newlinesuch as the responses and patterns of movement of the occupants, are also newlinecrucial in modeling the emergency evacuation scenario. Even with newlinesophisticated fire detection and prevention systems, the safety of the building newlinemust be assured by an effective emergency evacuation system that newlineincorporates human behavior newline
