Abstract: Wireless sensor network consists of a number of sensor nodes that are distributed in a random manner and fetch the data from network. The transmission of data packets among nodes is carried out through the identification of energy efficient sensor node. It plays a very important role in data aggregation. The monitored and gathered data is transmitted from one sensor node to another with higher data aggregation accuracy and network lifetime. To improve the overall performance of data aggregation among sensor node, aggregation process is carried out. Here, different sensor nodes in the network are considered to gather the data packet and the sink node aggregates collected data. During the transmission of data packets, energy consumption is most essential to obtain better performance in network. Additionally, data aggregation is one of the major issues in WSN to be addressed. If the data is aggregated, several factors such as energy constraints of sensors, network topology and link conditions and so on get addressed. The optimized data aggregation is an essential part to enhance lifetime of sensor network. Recently, many research works have been designed for attaining energy efficient data aggregation with higher accuracy and minimum energy consumption. However, the collection of all data in sensor network was not addressed in an efficient manner. In sensor network, each sensor node comprises with numerous data information. The collection of data is increased where sensor nodes need to be positioned densely. However, the performance of various techniques was not efficient because it required more energy consumption to perform data gathering in WSN. Therefore, three different proposed research works are discussed in this thesis that focus on improving the accuracy on data aggregation with energy efficient sensor nodes in networks by minimizing the consumption of energy newline
